• 4H Field Trip to the Larry Kanfer Gallery. July 2. 4H youngsters enjoyed the gallery, learned about Larry Kanfer, and experienced being analytical about how they view fine art photography.

• Celebrate UI! See iconic and new University of Illinois images by Larry Kanfer
• Psychology at the University of Illinois interpreted by Larry Kanfer. In a specially commissioned image Larry Kanfer creates an Interpreted Image showcasing the psychology building and the research divisions within the department.
• Northwestern University Office of Budget acquires Larry Kanfer Artwork. Images of Evanston and Chicago campuses grace their reception area and conference room. View Larry Kanfer images of Northwestern University.
• April 7, Tolono Public Library, 7 pm, "Magnificence of the Everyday" presentation of artwork and discussion by Larry Kanfer.
• March & April, Field Trips, High School Students from St. Thomas More High School in Champaign, and from Lovington High School each visited the Larry Kanfer Gallery on field trips. Students toured the gallery, discussed what it is like to be an artist, what it takes to run your own business and analyzed which images are their favorites.
• March 24, Windsor of Savoy, 7 pm, Larry Kanfer presentation to residents of the retirement community about the beauty all around us.
• Feb 27 – 30. Larry Kanfer Gallery gallery manager participates in Artexpo in New York City.
• Feb. 12, Catholic Daughters of America, Holy Cross Parish Hall. Larry Kanfer was the featured luncheon speaker, describing his experiences in China, and comparing the experience of the landscape in China and in the prairie.
• Feb. 12, St. Thomas More High School Career Fair, Larry Kanfer, along with representatives from various other professions, participated in this event sponsored by the student council.
• Feb. 4, University Primary School. Larry Kanfer participated in primary school project on the local prairie. He spoke about what he looks for when he's taking photographs, what he considers beautiful, what it means to him to be an artist, and he commented on the students’ drawings inspired by Larry Kanfer artwork.
